Thank you so much for choosing Miss Behaviour YEG – your trusted place for thoughtful, force-free dog behaviour support, pet care, and quality pet-loving products. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how purchases and services work on www.missbehaviouryeg.ca (the “Site”).

By using this Site or purchasing goods/services through it, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

🐾 1. Ownership & Intellectual Property

This Site is owned and operated by Miss Behaviour YEG (Miss B). All content – including text, logos, images, designs, downloadable files, manuals, training materials, and digital products – is protected intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or share any content without written permission.

🌐 2. Acceptable Use

By using this Site, you agree not to:

  • Violate any intellectual property rights
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the Site
  • Impersonate any user or staff member

If we believe misuse has occurred, we may limit, suspend, or terminate access to the Site.

All products are printed and fulfilled by trusted partners in the U.S. and Canada. Shipping timelines vary based on the item, print partner, and destination.

Product Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure descriptions, images, and details are accurate. Colours, sizing, and placement may vary slightly based on printing.

Pricing Changes

We may modify or discontinue products at any time. If your order is cancelled by us after payment, you will receive a full refund.

🚚 5. Shipping & Delivery

Estimated Delivery Times

Standard Shipping: 5–30 business days

Priority Shipping: 5–10 business days

Shipping times exclude weekends and statutory holidays and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or global postal conditions.

Duties & Taxes

International orders may incur customs charges. These are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Address Accuracy

You must provide a complete and correct delivery address. We cannot refund or replace items shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

♻️ 6. Returns & Refunds — Products

You may return eligible items according to the following policy:

📦 Return Eligibility

Items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags attached.

Returns must be initiated within 10 days of delivery.

Holiday purchases (Nov 1–Dec 25) may be returned until January 15.

Personalized/custom-made items are non-refundable unless defective.

🏷️ Fees

Standard returns may incur a 5% restocking fee.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective.

💳 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only, after the item is received and inspected.

🐶 7. Sale of Services (Training, Daycare, Boarding)

Services available through this Site include:

• • Private dog training sessions (in-person and virtual)
  • Perfect Start Package (3-session bundle)
  • Dog daycare
  • Overnight pet sitting/boarding

Services must be paid in full at time of booking.

🕒 8. Training Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refundable

Single sessions: Refundable (less 5% processing fee) when cancelled at least 2 hours before the appointment start time.

Perfect Start Package: Refundable (less 5% fee) when cancelled at least 2 hours before the FIRST session.

Non-Refundable

Cancellations inside 2 hours of session

No-shows

Remaining sessions in a Perfect Start Package once the first session has been started or completed

Services already delivered or actively in progress

Transfers

Unused training services may be transferred to another individual. Contact info@missbehaviouryeg.ca to initiate.

🐾 9. Refunds for Pet Sitting & Boarding

Daycare

Refundable (less 5% fee) if cancelled at least 2 hours before scheduled arrival.

Overnight Boarding

Stays 1–7 days:

5% fee if cancelled ≥48 hrs before arrival

25% fee if cancelled 24–48 hrs before

50% fee if cancelled <24 hrs before

Stays 8–14 days:

5% fee if cancelled ≥5 days before

25% fee if cancelled 3–5 days before

50% fee if cancelled <72 hrs before

Stays 14+ days:

5% fee if cancelled ≥7 days before

25% fee if cancelled 4–7 days before

50% fee if cancelled <4 days before

Non-Refundable

• • No-shows
  • Services once commenced
  • Early departures

⚖️ 10. Consumer Protection

Nothing in these Terms overrides your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act of Alberta or any other applicable legislation.

🔒 11. Limitation of Liability

Miss Behaviour YEG is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages arising from:

• • Use of the Site
  • Purchase of goods or services
  • Delays in shipping
  • Errors in product delivery
  • Third-party fulfilment partners
  • Behaviour incidents involving dogs

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for goods or services.

🛡️ 12. Indemnity

By using this Site, you agree to indemnify Miss Behaviour YEG against any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

📍 13. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta.

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

These Terms may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in business operations or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page and/or sent by email where required.

🎓 16. Online Courses, Community & Digital Programs (Teachable Platform)

Miss Behaviour’s online courses, memberships, and community spaces – including Mind Before Manners, UnLeashed Lounge, webinars, and digital learning products – are hosted on a separate education platform (Teachable).

Purchases made on Teachable:

• • Use a separate checkout system
  • Follow separate billing and refund rules
  • Require acceptance of Teachable’s Terms & Conditions
  • Please review the policies directly on the education platform when purchasing digital products.

Refunds for Teachable purchases cannot be issued through www.missbehaviouryeg.ca.
