Pet Sitting Agreement and Commitment

By completing this agreement and proceeding with purchasing Pet Sitting services, I commit to fully complying with all terms outlined within. If I do not agree or fail to comply, Miss Behaviour reserves the right to discontinue services. Non-compliance may also result in the forfeiture of any paid services without refund.

1. Ownership and Responsibility - I confirm that I am the owner of the pet(s) or have been authorized by the owner to take responsibility for the pet(s). I commit to providing truthful and accurate information regarding the pet(s) health, behaviour, and background

2. Pet Health and Vaccination Status - I confirm that my pet(s) are in good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, free from fleas or any communicable diseases, and have never severely bitten a human or animal in an incident requiring medical or veterinary attention (e.g., stitches, antibiotics, hospitalization). I understand that failure to disclose known aggressive behaviour may result in refusal or discontinuation of services.

3. Behaviour Disclosure – I confirm that I have disclosed any known behavioural issues including but not limited to aggression, separation anxiety, excessive barking, marking, reactivity to people or other animals, or a history of escaping confinement. I understand that failure to disclose may result in immediate termination of services and forfeiture of any payments made.

4. Damage to Property - I understand that if my pet causes damage to Miss Behaviour YEG’s property (e.g., chewing, scratching, house soiling beyond expected accidents), I may be held financially responsible for repairs or cleaning fees.

5. Shared Environment Consent – I understand that my pet(s) may be cared for in a shared environment with other animals. I acknowledge that while Miss Behaviour YEG takes all reasonable precautions, interactions with other animals carry risks including injury or stress.

6. Identification - I agree that my pet(s) must be wearing a collar (or harness) with valid ID tags.

7. Risk and Liability Acknowledgment - I understand and accept that Miss Behaviour YEG may take my pet(s) off the premises for on-leash walks, which carries inherent risks such as injury, illness, or accidents. I release Miss Behaviour YEG, its owner(s), employees, contractors, and representatives from any and all liability for injury, illness, loss, damage, or death of my pet(s), except in the case of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I understand that while every effort is made to provide a safe and caring environment, accidents and unforeseen incidents can occur.

8. Media Consent - I grant Miss Behaviour and its representatives the right to use, reproduce, and publish photographs and/or videos of my pet(s) taken for promotional, educational, or lawful purposes. I understand that Miss Behaviour owns all rights to these images and may use them without compensation or further approval.

9. Release - I release Miss Behaviour YEG, its employees, and owners from any liabilities not limited to injury, sickness, damage, accident, or death of my pet(s) while in Miss Behaviour YEG's care, on or off the premises.

10. Late Arrival or Departure - In the event I am unable to drop off or pick up my pet(s) at the agreed upon time, I will advise Miss Behaviour YEG via text or phone as soon as possible to authorize a change. I understand that additional charges may apply for short notice changes and that Miss Behaviour must approve such changes.

11. Failure to Pick Up Pet(s) - In the event I fail to pick up my pet(s) and I, nor my listed emergency contact(s), make contact with Miss Behaviour YEG within 72 hours of the agreed pick-up date and time, I agree that Miss Behaviour YEG will assume that I have abandoned my pet(s) and Miss Behaviour YEG will then be authorized to release my pet into the care of a local animal rescue to be placed up for adoption.

12. Veterinary Care - In the event my pet(s) require medical attention while under the care of Miss Behaviour YEG, I authorize Miss Behaviour YEG to seek such medical attention at my own cost. Miss Behaviour YEG will make every reasonable attempt to contact me first, unless such delay would result in further harm to my pet(s). Miss Behaviour YEG will not be responsible for the cost of any treatment deemed medically necessary by the attending veterinarian. If your listed veterinarian is unavailable, Miss Behaviour YEG will choose the nearest available veterinary clinic or emergency veterinary care centre.

13. Age Confirmation - I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age and able to legally enter this agreement.

14. Terms & Conditions Acknowledgment - I confirm that further to this agreement, I have reviewed and understand the Terms & Conditions available for review at www.missbehaviouryeg.ca, including the Refunds for Services section, and agree to comply with them throughout the duration of this agreement.

15. Waiver Validity - This agreement is valid for one year from the date of submission, unless otherwise terminated in writing by either party. I certify that all information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge, and I will update Miss Behaviour YEG promptly should any details change.
